Oatley FC is excited to introduce you to MiniRoos

Oatley FC is excited to introduce you to MiniRoos & MiniTildas, a fun and inclusive football program designed specifically for boys and girls aged 4 to 6. Whether your child is new to the game or already loves kicking a ball around, MiniRoos & MiniTildas offers a safe, engaging, and supportive environment to introduce your child to football.

MiniRoos & MiniTildas is all about having fun while developing key skills like coordination, teamwork, and confidence. The program focuses on small-sided games that are tailored to younger age groups.

Why Join MiniRoos & MiniTildas?
- Non-competitive and inclusive
- Age-appropriate activities
- Great way to make new friends
- Builds physical and social skills

How to Get Started:
A 1 hour session will be held each Wednesday evening from 5PM at Renown Park, for 6 weeks, commencing on 22nd October 2025 (last session planned for 26th November).

All are welcome to come join the fastest growing, most improved Premier Women’s League team in the SGFA competition. If you’re considering playing PWL, and want to play in a friendly, supportive, high quality football team, with outstanding coaching and team management, then Oatley PWL is the team for you.

Oatley FC Women’s Premier League is ready to take the next step in 2026. With back-to-back-to-back honours, the 2023 and 2024 FSG Golden Boots and the 2025 FSG Player of the Season, plus three straight top-four finishes and a 2025 grand final appearance, our track record speaks for itself. In 2026, we’re going all in to lift the trophy. Our large and ambitious squad is backed by licensed coaches, a dedicated focus on female football, and leadership and coaching pathways across the club. With a strong culture on and off the field, Oatley FC is the place to play, grow, and succeed.

Oatley FC is serious about female football. From juniors to PWL, we are growing, developing and inspiring players to excel at the game we all love. Led by a passionate female football coordinator, and strongly supported by our club executive, we now have one of the highest number of female registrations, and this is just the beginning.

Join us as we celebrate the achievements of our amazing junior players, from Under 12s to Under 21s!

🏆 Awards will be presented to each team, with special recognition for our Minor Premiers and Premiers

👏 Each team will present three individual awards

🎖 Plus, we’ll honour those receiving 5-Year and 10-Year Service Awards

Oatley FC is proud to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mel Saunders, our Sponsorship Coordinator and Social Events Coordinator, for her exceptional leadership in delivering one of the most significant events in our club’s history, the Oatley FC 50th Anniversary Dinner, held last Friday evening.

This milestone event was a resounding success, brought to life through Mel’s unwavering commitment, vision, and attention to detail. Guests were treated to a remarkable evening featuring a curated exhibition of club memorabilia from our founding in 1975 to the present day, alongside a memorable program that included local Members of Parliament, key sponsors, and representatives from St George Football and Football NSW.

The evening was elevated by a vibrant atmosphere, with a professional DJ, photographer, and an extensive raffle draw that brought excitement to the celebration (especially for our purple ticket holders 😉). It was truly a night that honoured our past, celebrated our present, and looked confidently toward the future of Oatley FC.

On behalf of the entire club, we extend our deepest gratitude to Mel for the tireless energy, perseverance, and passion she devoted to the planning and execution of this landmark event. Her contribution exemplifies the very spirit of community and commitment that defines Oatley FC.

In recognition of her ongoing dedication to the club, Mel was also recently honoured with the Club Volunteer of the Year Award at the FSG Gold Medal Dinner, an accolade she richly deserves.

We would also like to formally acknowledge the outstanding efforts of Natalie Jones, Alison Katona, and the broader OFC Committee, whose collaboration and hard work were instrumental in the event’s success.

Hanne has been a proud member of Oatley FC for 4 years, and in 2025 she stepped up as Captain of our Premier League squad, leading with heart, grit, and passion through an incredible season, including an unforgettable Grand Final.

Hanne is not only a standout player, but also a true leader and role model at the club. We are beyond proud and honoured to see her recognised with this well-deserved award.

Our 2025 disco sold out last year, it was an amazing night for all! Our parents dined in, kids danced and sang the night away, as did first time volunteer parents! This is a paid role ($20–$25 per game) and a great way for young players to gain confidence, leadership skills, and a positive first work experience.
