Registering as a Team Manager / RTO
Thank you for volunteering to be a coach/manager or committee member of Oatley Football Club.
The official term for the role is RTO – Registered Team Official.
What is a RTO? It stands for Registered Team Official, and each team needs at least one in attendance to start a game. It is expected that each team has two with this usually being the coach and the manager. It is also their responsibility to complete and submit the match sheet each week. It is OK to have as many RTO’s in a team as you would like.
Working with Children Check
Every RTO of a team with players aged under 18 must also have a current Working with Children Check number.
Whilst getting this check will involve a small amount of your time, it is free (for volunteers) and is valid for 5 years. Unfortunately we can no longer accept a request to be a coach/manager/RTO without this number (even if you are coaching/managing your own child’s team).
Registration as a RTO
Once you have a passport sized photo and your WWCC number, click the link below to register as a RTO – Coach/Manager/Volunteer
Sign in or CREATE an ACCOUNT (if you already created an account for your child’s rego then just SIGN IN) – even if you had an account last year you need a NEW PLAYFOOTBALL ACCOUNT.
Login – then select GET STARTED
As you move through the process the role is Volunteer – not coach.
Change the role to Volunteer then the RTO product will appear.
Every RTO will receive a polo shirt.
If you have any questions, please email registrar@oatleyfc.com.au
